How to Floss Your Teeth

Flosss Since you can’t get a brush between your teeth, flossing is necessary to completely clean your entire tooth surface. Floss every time you brush – at least twice a day.

Step 1 – Cut a piece of floss about 2 feet long.

Step 2 – Wrap both ends of the floss around your middle fingers.

Step 3 – Using your index and middle fingers, glide the floss in between all your teeth one by one. Make sure you aren’t cutting your gums. Flossing is all about cleaning your teeth, not your gums.

Step 4 – Press the floss tight up against the teeth and gently move it back and forth and up and down on one tooth. Then do the same action on the adjacent side of the opposing tooth.
